Warm spring sunshine and bright yellow daffodils
welcomed EmoTrance practitioners from all parts of Ireland to the
Advanced Practitioner training weekend held in St. Raphaela's School,
Dublin, Ireland at the beginning of March 2007.
Such was the success of the first EmoTrance practitioner training
weekend held in July
2007 that another one was held in October, and the group gathered
for the advanced practitioner training attracted participants from
both 2006 Irish trainings.
The training was held in St. Raphaela's School in Dublin, and Sr.
Rachel from the Convent also attended the training.
This advanced practitioner weekend was entitled "Living Energy".

Sally Canning demonstrating Emotrance
techniques with Tom Wynn |
Sally Canning, an AMT trainer who runs her clinic, Inner
Solutions in England, was again our EmoTrance teacher and guide.
She began with a reprise of the principles of EmoTrance - that it's
all only energy and that energy must flow.
Whatever thoughts, feelings or images we have - however we think
of our problems, it's still only an energy and a part of us knows
what to do to assist stuck energy to flow again, with the goal of
restoring even flow to the energy system.
We first practised an exercise in basic Emotrance techniques. Working
with a partner we focused on a problem, identified where we felt
it in the body and used our intention to soften and flow the energy,
assisted all the time by our partner. |
The weekend training was designed to be very practical and hands-on, and was primarily about the practitioners
using Emotrance to soften and flow energy, playing with energy, experiencing
energy flowing as the result of positive emotions and clearing many
of our own limiting beliefs and blocks.
The clearer and more present we are when we are with our clients,
the better we can help them to help themselves. Sally reminded us
that we must always show our clients total and unconditional acceptance,
and respect the fact that only the client knows what's wrong and
that without their permission, nothing can move or change. |

Practising EmoTrance techniques
with a partner |

Sally went around the group checking that
we were using the Emotrance techniques correctly. |
The group then undertook an exercise call the Rainbow Connection,
which was again practised with a partner. We thought of two opposing
concepts such as love and money, family and work, for example, and
held the energy of each concept, one in each hand. We then flowed
one type of energy over to the other in a rainbow over our heads,
and then noted the difference in how the energy felt. I experienced
a feeling of much more balance between the 2 energies after the
exercise.
Sally introduced the concept of thoughtfields (individual thought
constructs) and powerfields (group thought constructs). To experience
the feeling of group energy, we all focused together on global warming,
this produced an intense energy which was palpable in the room. |
After a break for a sociable lunch to catch up with acquaintances
and friends old and new, we learned about Heros and thought flow.
Heros stands for Higher Energetic Operating System and describes
the structure of our energy system - consisting of energy heart,
energy mind and the soul. The thought flow or energy within this
system works perfectly on its own, but the conscious mind does not
understand the system properly and tries to fight it.
The group of practitioners also undertook a profound exercise to find
and experience the soul memories which we would carry with us if today
was our last day. |

advanced practitioner training weekend. |
Later in the afternoon we explored the concept of what it would feel like to attain our deepest desire or highest goal, and what that success would mean. Any blockage or feeling in the body against these positive concepts were dealt with using the Emotrance process to soften and flow the energy.
We were also introduced to the concept of snow globes to help move energy along. This consisted of placing all the feelings and emotions associated with our goals into an imaginary snowglobe held in our cupped palms, them throwing it over our shoulder and down our backs, effectively "handing it over" to the Heros (higher energetic operating system), awaking channels of communication which have been little used. This can produce answers as two-way communication with the Heros is established. To end the day we gave ourselves the experience of a wonderful innocent energy shower and we went away tired but energised. |
Day two of the advanced Emotrance practitioner training brought
a morning of heavy rain and high winds which could do nothing to
decrease our enthusiasm for emotrance nor dampen our spirits.
A feature of any training in Ireland is the "Irish time-keeping".
This is relaxed to say the least and an intended 10am start saw
the group moving from the classroom to the kitchem for a cup of
tea and a chat instead of the other way around! However we finally
got down to the business of the day around 10.15. Sally has trained
Irish people quite a few times and accepted out quirky time-keeping
philosophically - it's just part of who we are.
|

Social gathering for a cup of tea and a chat
is very much a feature of Irish training weekends. |

Sally demonstrating Beauty T, an Emotrance
technique, with a volunteer. |
We began the second day of training with a fun exercise - the
magic jelly bean. Holding jelly beans in our hands we energetically
changed them into the most beneficial and nutritious food which
would give us everything we needed and them ate them, noting the
effect.
The next exercise was an individual process, to energetically construct
a love potion for ourselves. We did this carefully, step by step,
choosing the container, its shape and colour, the carrier, the ingredients
etc. Then we ingested the potion and felt what it meant to give
ourselves such a precious gift.
For the remainder of the day Sally explored body image with us, and how what we see in the mirror can be completely different from what others see and also that our own image can be changes through the use of Beatuty T, an Emotrance technique.
Working in pairs we focused on something we disliked about our bodies and used Emotrance to soften and flow the feeling through whatever energetic pathways it wanted to travel.
|
We ended the weekend with the my body/one body exercise. This
generated and balanced energy flow to all the different parts of
the body, leading to an increased awareness and appreciation of
our bodies. Learning to love and appreciate ourselves instead of
having a facelift.
The advanced Emotrance practitioners finished the course by discussing
our thoughts about the weekend and the often profound shifts we
had experienced. Everyone agreed that it had been a wonderful weekend
and that we had learned so much more about flowing energy and also
playing and having fun with the process.

Meridian Energy Therapies Trainers. |
Sally informed us that four of our group had recently completed
the training and accreditation process to become AMT (Association
of Meridian Therapies) Certified Meridian Energy Technique trainers.
Here you can see the group, who are the first Irish AMT accredited
MET trainers with Sally Canning, their trainer - Ray Manning, Helen
McCrarren, Aisling Killoran and Tom Wynn.
Sally Canning / Inner Solutions has recently gained accreditation
for Tom Wynn's Energy Cone Technique and the first ever practitioner
training took place in Amsterdam in February 2007. The only Irish
practitioner training this year for this technique will be held
in at St. Raphaela's in Dublin on Saturday April 14th and Sunday
15th 2007. For further information please see Inner
